- He has become more and more independent. He's been getting into more things.
- He is inquisitive and curious and smart.
- He has really started saying sooo much more and it's fun (sometimes frustrating) trying to decipher what it is he is saying. He repeats a lot!
- He loves to read and is starting to learn and recognize letters. Mostly, right now he just recognizes the letter "O" each time, but likes to name other letters.
- He will randomly poke Adelaide in the head and say her name. He will also give her kisses on her face. He still tries to sit on her sometimes and he sometimes tries to pick her up.
- He's recently become a bit aggressive towards others and has started grabbing faces. For him, it's all in good help. Not everyone agrees. :)
- He doesn't really cry in nursery at church anymore, but he doesn't really play yet either.
- He has started playing with other kids in other settings though. He loves his cousins (Jhaelyn, Kyrah and Miyah).
- He's tried lots of new foods this month- cottage cheese and peanut butter are new favorites.
- I'm sure he's had a growth spurt recently because some of his clothes are getting too small (size 12 month jeans are finally getting too short).
- His personality is really developing. He is soooo funny and witty (I know I keep saying it, but it's true). He knows when he is being cute.
- His favorite thing to say is "Gin" for again. If you do something/sing something/say something he wants you to do it again and again.
- He loves to make people laugh.
- His hiding places are getting a little better. :)
- He climbs on the table all of the time now.
- He doesn't sleep in his crib any longer. He sleeps in his big boy bed for naps and at night (for part of the night).
- He loves to help sweep the floor and unload the dishwasher.
- His spoon-using skills are steadily improving, but he'd still rather use his hands whenever possible.
- He loves to eat apples (they are currently his favorite snack).
- He loves colby jack or mozzarella, but does not like sharp cheddar cheese.
- He talks in his sleep sometimes- mostly babbling, but sometimes intelligible like "mama".

- He has had a hard time going to sleep at night and sometimes doesn't fall asleep until an hour or more after his bedtime. He usually wakes up anywhere between 1 and 4 and gets in the bed.
- During scripture study, we've started having him repeat scriptures and he loves it! (and it is most adorable!)
- He loves musicals lately and has quite an eclectic taste in music. Some of his favorite songs these days include: Overture/work song from Les Miserables, songs from Wicked, Once There Was a Snowman, Row, Row, Row Your Boat, Hey Jude by the Beatles (he loves the na na na na's), Everybody by Ingrid Michaelson.

I just love Caleb's eyes. They are so precious and so telling. The pictures of him getting in to everything are great! It's amazing what they decide to do when Mommy is feeding the baby. :)
ReplyDeleteHe's gotten so big already! They're both adorable, too. Happy (belated) Easter!
